How We Give Back to the Community

Reading Success Learning Center is dedicated to helping students develop to their full potential so they will increase their self-esteem and improve academic performance.

In order to achieve our goal, Reading Success Learning Center works together with parents and educators.  We offer the following group events at No Cost for students, parents, grandparents, homeschooling families, educators and schools:

 

  1. Free Group Enrichment

Certified teachers will facilitate group learning activities in a friendly and social atmosphere.  Students will learn how to improve their Critical Thinking Skills in Reading and Writing by participating in age appropriate fun learning experiences. (Registration Required – See Below)

 

  1. Free Parent & Grandparent Support Club

Join our reading specialist to learn how to utilize fun literacy activities to help your child improve reading skills.  Parents will learn about the process of Reading in a social environment.  Parent questions will be addressed and light refreshments will be served. (Adults Only – Registration Required – Use Form in Contact Tab)

 

  1. Free Homeschooling Support & Teacher Collaboration

Our reading specialist will meet with Homeschooling Parents or Teachers (even those who are not clients of Reading Success Learning Center) to discuss and to demonstrate how to improve teaching and learning experiences for students.  (Appointment Required – 772-905-8957 or use form in Contact Tab)

 

  1. Free PTO/PTA & Faculty Presentations

As a Reading Specialist for over 25 years, Mrs. Aloi has accumulated a wealth of knowledge about what Causes Reading Problems and How to Improve Reading Performance.  Camille will present on these or other literacy topics for Parent Groups, School Faculties or other Community Organizations.

1. Students are expected to handle all property of READING SUCCESS CENTER appropriately and to follow established procedures. Parents will be required to reimburse the READING SUCCESS CENTER for any materials or property that are destroyed and/or lost by the student either on purpose or due to carelessness.2. Students are expected to be attentive, cooperative, polite and respectful. Students who display behaviors not conducive to learning such as being uncooperative, inattentive and unresponsive will receive a warning. Teachers will attempt to redirect the student, but if the student refuses to adjust his behavior the child will be removed from the group and the parents will need to pick up their child immediately.3. Children under age 14 must have an adult walk them into READING SUCCESS CENTER and wait with them until their teacher is available.4. Children under age 14 will not be allowed to leave READING SUCCESS CENTER until an adult comes in to sign them out. We do not provide curb service.5. Supervision will not be provided by READING SUCCESS CENTER before or after the Event. Parents will be charged a babysitting fee equal to $1 for each minute your child is left unattended at READING SUCCESS CENTER.6. When I arrive at READING SUCCESS CENTER, I will sign a paper copy of these Terms & Conditions which will also include Permission for Emergency Medical Services, Photo Release, and Consent for an Alternative Pick-Up Person
